Q: What are some of the milestones and successes that your business has had in the past ten years?

A: I've had lots of successes and failures over the past decade.  With three of my long-standing partners, we've started a new venture capital firm called Foundry Group (www.foundrygroup.com) and raised a new fund in 2007. The four of us continue to manage the old Mobius Venture Capital funds.

Q: Have there been any negative experiences that you learned from?

A: I've written extensively about this on my blog at http://www.feld.com/wp/archives/category/failure

Q: Do you make decisions differently now days, or pursue different business ventures, than you did ten years ago?  

A: I've decided to focus 100% of my energy  on areas that I know well.  As a result, the only investments I'm making at this point are in software and Internet companies in the United States.  I figure there's more than enough innovation and opportunity here to keep me busy for the next 20 years.  I have also decided only to work with people I like and respect and have been vigilant about this.

Q: What are some of your your latest professional endeavors?

A: I'm one of four founders of Foundry Group (http://www.foundrygroup.com).   I also co-founded TechStars (http://www.techstars.org)

Q: What are your future goals and ambitions today?  

A: My goal and ambition is simple - have a happy life.

Q: How has your lifestyle changed personally, in the last 10 years?

A: I've learned an enormous amount about work/life balance and creating a life rhythm that works well for me and my wife, Amy.
