Turning to her personal side,
Lesonsky says that she works a lot.
However, she credits the fact she
loves her job and the people that work
for her as keeping her balanced. "If it's
not fun, it's not worth it. For a lot of
people, we were their first employer
right out of college and they have
been here for years," says Lesonsky.

When she does have free time,
Lesonsky enjoys traveling to various
antique stores and working on her
home. She also enjoys spending time
with her boyfriend, with whom she has
managed a long-distance relationship.
In addition, she is a New York Yankee
fan and an avid reader. She says, "I am
like a kid. If I have my big stack of
magazines, I put my business ones on
top and the home decorating ones at
the bottom. It's like I can get to desert,
but I have to eat my vegetables first!"

Finally, when giving advice to other
entrepreneurs, Lesonsky says, "You
need to have the patience to nurture
your business along and the
persistence not to give up. I think it's
important to make time to play as well.
When you are starting a business, it's
going to take time and there is no
balance at that point. You can't start a
business thinking you are going to
balance your life right away. It's like
having a baby. You don't get to
balance for the first few years. Finally,
go with your instincts. You have to do
the practical things, but if your gut
tells you do something, go for it. It will
never lead you astray."
